Archangel's Anvil

The Archangel's Anvil in the Omicron sector births its stars in spectacularly violent cycles, forming the legend that a stellar being strikes the white-hot core every five hundred years to send "sparks" violently flying in all directions. Streams of volatile gases weave throughout the Anvil like tendrils of smoke after quenching hot steel, eventually converging upon the core with a constant supply of raw star material.
