The Spirit Tree

Simply known as "The Tree" amongst the villagers, visitation to its part of the forest was strictly forbidden. Travelers tended to return a little stranger, a little wiser, a little more cognizant of their surroundings - not a mindset in keeping with the strict Ways. A few of the more open-minded Elders still had faint memories regarding "The Tree" as having once been a frequent place of ritual for the Old Ones, and as such the tree's spirit and very growth had flourished wildly in the presence of their collected thoughts and energies.
